Arianne Tasker

Since I was born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado has always been my home, even though I spent the first seven years of my life living in seven different U.S. states. For much of my childhood, I grew up in the Littleton area before attending the University of Northern Colorado. At Greeley, I earned my license in Elementary Education with a specialization in linguistically diverse students. During my time there, I got the chance to work with many different students, but realized very quickly that primary aged students are my passion. Since 2007 I have taught kindergarten and first grade. In that time, my love for working with primary aged students continued to grow. I love that I have the opportunity to share my educating enthusiasm with Red Hawk and to teach and learn from students in this fantastic community. When not teaching, I love being active in the Colorado outdoors. In particular, I enjoy camping, hiking, skiing and rock climbing. I also love to travel with my husband, who is a fellow St. Vrain teacher!
