Bio
I am very excited to be teaching 2nd Grade again this year! 2nd Grade is my absolute favorite grade to teach. I was born and raised in Colorado and as a product of St. Vrain Valley Schools myself, I love teaching in the district that raised me and inspired me to become an educator. For my own education, I attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where I attained my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development. I also earned my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. When I am not teaching, I love to hike and exercise with my husband and two Golden Retrievers, Lacie and Charlie. I am so excited to be a part of the special Red Hawk Family and to establish relationships with my students and their families. Teaching and instilling lifelong learning within children is my life’s passion and what makes my “job” so rewarding.
