I graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2019, with a Bachelor of Science in Media Design and my license in Elementary Education K-5. I taught in Boulder and then in Firestone the past three years, as well as received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy K-12, this past May from CU Boulder. I have been friends with a few of the teachers from this school for a little bit now and it led me to come here and join the amazing first grade team! I feel so blessed to be surrounded by such an incredible staff here at Red Hawk.

When I am not teaching, I love going camping, spending time with my big family & my two sweet puppies- Teddy & Murf, visiting local coffee shops, reading, and designing.

I love teaching and can’t remember a time in my life where I didn’t feel like this was my path in life. I can remember daydreaming of being a teacher when I was in first grade being asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. Now I get to live that dream and it’s a pretty amazing feeling. My hope is to build a strong foundation for my students to thrive and grow into their highest potential. In my classroom I want them to feel loved and valued and my only hope is that it sets them up for success far beyond first grade!
