Bio

Erie has been my home since 1996 and I have been part of the Red Hawk family since 2011 when it first opened. Teaching is my passion, and I recently completed my Masters in Responsive Literacy Education at the University of Colorado Denver.  I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners. To help students achieve, I provide a positive learning environment with high expectations for all. And to help cultivate a child’s potential in the classroom, I foster meaningful relationships with students, staff and parents.  I have been married to my husband since 1994 and have two children Riley (daughter) and Keegan (son). We spend much of our time keeping up with our children’s running activities in both cross country and track. Reading, hiking, and walking my dog are a few of my favorite things to do.
