Attendance
If your student is absent you need call the office at 303-774-2700 or fill out this Absence Form. Per our SVVSD attendance policy, Parent(s) or guardian(s) can excuse up to 10 absences each school year without documentation. Any further absences may need proper documentation in order to excuse them.
Late Start Days (For Teacher Professional Development)
First Bell: 11:25am Second Bell: 11:35am

Buses run 2.5 hours later than their usual schedule
Mid Year iPad Insurance- If you did not purchase iPad insurance at the beginning of the school year you can purchase insurance for the second semester. The cost is $12.50 and payments can be made through Infinite Campus , please call the front office to have insurance added to your student’s Infinite Campus.
25-26 Preschool
St. Vrain Preschool Expands to Five-Day-A-Week Programs
Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, St. Vrain Valley Schools will offer five-day-a-week preschool programs. Families can explore a variety of high-quality preschool options tailored to meet families’ unique needs, including half-day morning and afternoon sessions, with full-day programs available at select locations. Registration for the upcoming school year begins on December 17.

St. Vrain’s Parent University program provides training, information, and resources to parents and caregivers to support the well-being and success of their children.

Adolescent RISE with Nicholas Thompson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Adolescent RISE is a presentation that takes a fun and informative look at the developmental period of adolescence (ages 10-25). It includes debunking myths about adolescence, understanding the four qualities of adolescence (risk taking, identity formation, social reorientation, and emotional intensity), and learning about the tweenage brain. With this foundation established, ways to better support our kids will be discussed.

Join Us for Kindergarten Family Literacy Night, Feb. 19
St. Vrain Valley Schools invites kindergarten families to an engaging evening focused on supporting early literacy. Hosted by members of St. Vrain’s Priority Programs and kindergarten teachers, this event will provide valuable insights into the Colorado READ Act, strategies to strengthen early reading skills at home, and digital tools that enhance literacy growth.
Kindergarten Family Literacy Night will take place on February 19, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., at the Timberline PK-8 Community Room. Childcare and Spanish interpretation will be available.

A Night of Dancing & Fun

Come together with elementary and middle schools from throughout Erie to celebrate community under the glow of hundreds of luminaries.

The students of Erie High School’s Student Government have joined together to host a Wish Week to raise money for Make-A-Wish® Colorado and help create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
