Hello! My name is Jessica Jimenez. I joined the amazing Red Hawk team as a Special Education teacher in August 2017. I grew up in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Colorado in late July of 2017. I earned my bachelors in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine in 2012, and my masters in Education, with an emphasis in Special Education, from California State University, Fullerton in 2016. Special education is my passion, and I love that each day presents new and unique learning opportunities, both for myself and for my students. I firmly believe that every student is a capable, dynamic learner, and I enjoy supporting my students as they develop and recognize their individual learning potential.
When I am not teaching, I adore spending time with my husband Cesar, our kids James and Ellie, and our pets. We cherish the natural beauty that Colorado has to offer, and enjoy exploring our new home state through hiking, off-roading, and camping. In my free time, I relish the opportunity to read, cook, and complete a good crossword puzzle!
