Important Upcoming Dates:
- November 25th-29th– Thanksgiving Break
- December 4th– Late Start
- December 10th 6:30-8:30– Sock Hop Dance- Get ready to dance the night away and don’t forget to bring a pair of clean socks to donate to those in need! See the flyer below for more details!
- Pajama Drive through December 18th
- December 20th-January 6th– Winter Break- school resumes on January 7th
MyOn Thanksgiving Reading Challenge
Late Start is Wednesday, December 4th when we return from break. The first bell will ring at 11:25 AM and the second bell rings at 11:35 AM.

Attendance
If your student is absent you need call the office at 303-774-2700 or fill out this Absence Form. Per our SVVSD attendance policy, Parent(s) or guardian(s) can excuse up to 10 absences each school year without documentation. Any further absences may need proper documentation in order to excuse them.
Late Start Days (For Teacher Professional Development)
First Bell: 11:25am Second Bell: 11:35am
Wednesday: December 4th, February 5th, March 5th, April 2nd, May 7th

25-26 Preschool Information
St. Vrain Preschool Expands to Five-Day-A-Week Programs
Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, St. Vrain Valley Schools will offer five-day-a-week preschool programs. Families can explore a variety of high-quality preschool options tailored to meet families’ unique needs, including half-day morning and afternoon sessions, with full-day programs available at select locations. Registration for the upcoming school year begins on December 17.

Get Ready to Rock Your Socks at the Red Hawk Sock Hop Dance!
Dust off those dance moves and come join us on December 10, 2024 for a night of fun and community spirit at Red Hawk Elementary’s Sock Hop! It’s going to be a blast filled with music, laughter, and groovy moves – plus, it’s a great way to give back! We’re asking everyone to bring a donation of clean socks, which we’ll be donating to local shelters to help those in need. So, save the date, save your socks, and get ready to boogie! More exciting details to come soon – you won’t want to miss this! Please RSVP by completing this google form so we can get an idea of the number of people who will be in attendance.
