Attendance
If your student is absent you need call the office at 303-774-2700 or fill out this Absence Form. Per our SVVSD attendance policy, Parent(s) or guardian(s) can excuse up to 10 absences each school year without documentation. Any further absences may need proper documentation in order to excuse them.

First Bell: 11:25am Second Bell: 11:35am
Wednesday: April 2nd, May 7th
Buses run 2.5 hours later than their usual schedule

St. Vrain Preschool Expands to Five-Day-A-Week Programs
Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, St. Vrain Valley Schools will offer five-day-a-week preschool programs. Families can explore a variety of high-quality preschool options tailored to meet families’ unique needs, including half-day morning and afternoon sessions, with full-day programs available at select locations. Registration for the upcoming school year begins on December 17.

Red Hawk’s Musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr.
Tickets to Red Hawk’s Musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. will go on sale Monday, March 24th at 7:00am.
Showtimes:
May 2nd and May 3rd at 7:00pm
Location: Erie High School
Adults: $9.00
Student (4-12): $7.00
Children 3 and under are free but must sit on a lap
Please look for an email with a link to purchase tickets on Monday, March 24th at 7:00am.
Spring Break Challenge
Students are encouraged to work on i-Ready Reading and Math Lessons and MyOn Reading over Spring Break
They will receive Red Hawk Tickets for participating! See the reading tracker that went home in Red Hawk Folders.

Denver Nuggets Tickets for a Great Cause!
Exciting basketball action is just around the corner! The Denver Nuggets will be facing off against the Memphis Grizzlies on April 11, and the Education Foundation is offering tickets starting at just $33. It is election time for next school year’s PTO!
Below are the open PTO positions for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. If interested in learning more, please direct any questions to board@rhepto.net.
All nomination submissions are due to the PTO board email by March 24, 2025 at 5 pm. The vote will take place at our general PTO meeting on April 2, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the RHE library or online via the link provided prior to that meeting.
Open Positions:
Co-treasurer (2 yr position): Split treasurer duties, reconcile Quickbooks, and update monthly reports. Create and maintain the PTO budget.
Recording Secretary (2 yr position): Prepare agendas, prepare virtual option for meetings, note attendance, and take notes during PTO meetings.
Business/Community Coordinator (2 yr position): Coordinate PTO fundraising through sponsorships and special events.
DEI Chairperson (2 yr position): Support the diverse needs of the community through events and activities.
Communication Coordinator: Coordinate all communications to go out through the school and maintain Facebook page
Free Money Coordinator: Manage opportunities to collect free money for the PTO including Longmont Dairy, King Soopers, etc.
Volunteer Coordinator: Create and manage volunteer opportunities for PTO and RHE events.
