Bio
I was born and raised in New York City and Connecticut. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education from American International College in Springfield,  MA.  From there, I went on to complete a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Portland State University in Oregon. After college, I moved to Oregon and began my teaching career. I taught  Kindergarten and First grade for nine years in Oregon. I joined the Red Hawk team in 2014 as a second grade teacher. In 2018 I moved  to Kindergarten. I have known that education was my chosen profession since I was a teenager. I love watching the incredible growth each child makes every year both academically and socially. Teaching is my passion and I strive to build a classroom that is challenging and rewarding for all. I have a daughter in High School and a son in elementary school.  We live in Boulder and enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Colorado! I look forward to a wonderful year with you and your child!
