Bio
Hello! My name is Lindsay Severt. I became a part of the Red Hawk family as a Special Education teacher in 2019.  I grew up in Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University in 2016 with my bachelors in Special Education and Elementary Education.  I have always been passionate about working with the special needs community, and being able to share the light that I see in all individuals. Being a special education teacher, I love that every day allows me to engage in unique learning opportunities with my students, and be able to find different ways to help students grow in their own unique journey. When I am not at school, I love doing anything outside with friends and family, specifically hiking and snowboarding.  My husband and I built and live in a tiny house, so we love to take our home to new places during long breaks!  It’s fun to have our home on wheels.  I also love to read, water color paint, and cook new recipes!
