I

I am thrilled to be a part of the Red Hawk community! I have a passion for teaching children and have spent the last twenty-one years in the classroom. I was born and raised in Colorado and currently live in Erie, Colorado. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2000 and moved to Longmont to begin my teaching career. Over the last Twenty-One years, I have taught 1st Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th grade, and 5th Grade. I have two amazing kids! My daughter, Delaney, graduated from Erie High School in 2020. My son, Knox, will be a freshman at Erie High School this year. Outside of the classroom, my family can usually be found golfing, playing games, doing homework, and hanging out together. I have learned that busy children are happy children, so needless to say, we keep very busy. When I get a moment of time to call my own, I enjoy watching movies, going on adventures, looking for llamas, hanging out with friends, and searching for new and fun ways to challenge my students. I am eagerly awaiting a wonderful year of learning, exploring, and achieving great things with your children.
