Bio
I have been a teacher in the St. Vrain Valley School District since 1997. The best part of my job is working with people of all ages, and I love teaching elementary school because I enjoy teaching a variety of subjects. One of my strongest passions is reading - I belong to two book clubs!  I am athletic and I love being in Colorado's great outdoors. In the winter, I enjoy cross country skiing and hut trips. In warmer weather, I love to hike, backpack, and road bike. When the weather is nice, I'm riding with friends I've made on the Outdoor Divas Cycling team in Boulder.  I am also passionate about the Iditarod dog sled race that is held in Alaska each March. Another passion of mine is international travel and learning about foreign cultures. I have been at Red Hawk Elementary since it opened, and I love the community we have created!
